Meet Our Team

Ken Nisly has been in the painting business for 42 years and counting. When he began in 1978 he worked for his uncle, who had taken over the business from Ken's grandfather. During his fourteen-year tenure working with his uncle, Ken honed his skills for the painting industry. In 2006 Ken along with his entire family began their own business now known as Nisly and Son's Painting, Inc. Each of Ken's children, sons and daughters have spent summer vacations and weekends working in the family business.

In 2011, Loren and Stan two of Ken’s oldest sons became partners. Together, our family and staff offer years of experience to give your home or business the fresh look you desire.

Loren is the second child of Ken’s ten children. After High School he worked in the business as a painter. Stanley and Loren worked together on exterior projects for a few years. Eventually they started working on small commercial projects. In January of 2013 he enrolled at Hutchinson Community College and began work on his degree. During this time, he worked part-time for Nisly and Sons Painting. In August of 2015 he transferred to Kansas State University to further pursue his degree. During his time at KSU, he worked as a customer service representative at a farm tourism firm near Manhattan. He also had time to assist on company projects near Manhattan. In May of 2018 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Business and a Minor in Business. He currently holds a teaching position at Lakeside High School in Downs, Kansas. During summer breaks, he works on various projects at the business.

Stan is the third child of Ken’s 10 children. He learned from his father and uncle everything he knows about painting. He started painting as a teenager and has over 15 years of experience in painting as well as home repair and remodeling. He also is the shop mechanic making sure everything is in working order; from our shop trucks, to our painting machines, and equipment.

Rounding out our team are Kevin and Kenny Nisly.
